Pudding paint

Here are some pics of Kamber and Kaylin painting with pudding paint (pudding and food coloring). They had so much fun. Kaylin was adorable!!! She just wanted to put her hand in it and squeeze it for a long time, then she started painting her leg, and pretty soon she figured out that it tasted good and she had the bowl up and was licking it! Kamber doesn't like pudding, so there was no eating it on her part, put she did paint a very good picture and even tried out painting with her feet!

Homecoming is approaching

Only 1 month left until we are back together as a family again! I cannot wait for that moment and am so excited, but the closer the day gets, the more nervous I grow. I have so many questions and concerns. I know that it will be a very exciting and happy time for us, but it will also be a time of adjustment for all of us. We have both changed so much in the last year. He has been living in a constant adrenaline rush and I have learned to be completely independent and raise Kamber on my own. We are different people now and will have to figure out how to fit our family back together again. I can't wait for Kamber to meet her Daddy. She is going to love him and have so much fun with him because he is so silly. He will love that she is big enough now to fun and play and "wrestle" with him. I cannot wait to see my hubby again, I did not think that this day was ever going to come. The anticipation and worry about the deployment was worse than the actual thing because once it was here you had no choice but to pick up and go on with life and deal with it. It was no fun, but it is finally coming to an end. I want to have a family get together when he gets home, probably after he has been home a few days. I'm not sure where to start with the planning right now, especially since I am not sure exactly when he will be home yet. I am going to talk to him and see what he wants to do. He mentioned possibly going out to eat or having everyone get together at someones house at one point. I'll ask him what he wants to do even though he probably doesn't really care too much. Anyways, just wanted to let eveyone know that it is just one month away now and we have begun the true countdown!!!

Little gymnast

Kamber had her first day of tiny tumblers today. She did so good. She walked the balance beam and jumped on the trampoline and did somersaults. She also learned how to put her hands up and say "Tah-dah!", it was so cute!!! She loved it and cried when we had to leave.
